Is there a rule in the Grandparents Handbook that states all grandparents must have some sort of ice cream bar in the freezer at all times? Because I'm like 99.9% sure there is. When I was younger I thought it was only Grandma carver who knew the secret treat to every grandchild's heart! But after 21 years of living and Danny raising my awareness of this tradition, I have come to the generalization that it is all grandparents. Grandma C always has fat boys, Grandma & Grandpa E always have Klondike Bars, Grandma J always has your staple Popsicle(which I do realize isn't really an ice cream bar), and 9 year old Grandma C the 2nd(mom) always has skinny cows! Mmmmm..... that's why there is no other place in the world like Grandmas house!!
P.S. I am really craving a ice cream bar now!

sometimes I visit grandma carver just cause I know she has fat boys...especially when i was pregnant.
I think you have KMF to thank for Grandma C always stocking fat boys. I think it all goes back to a lazy summer afternoon, right around lunch time, when someone asked whether we should make some sandwiches ("Ice cream sandwiches or what?").
I'm glad to see that after all these years, KMF is still spending a lot of time thinking about ice cream sandwiches.
I love your blog enterys they are so random but so creative I love it....and I to could go for an ice cream bar right about now.....
