Normal people probably wouldn't announce blogging the "getting old" experience I had yesterday but since I am in desperate need of people to sympathize with me, I am going public!
I'm laying in bed yesterday morning talking with Dan when he suddenly reaches over towards my neck/right under my chin and says you have a hair. Thinking that it was hair that had fallen from my head I try and brush it off. Dan says "you didn't get it I think its attached". NO WAY not at age 21 have a developed one of those nasty hairs! Sure enough my nightmares came true, there stood straight out a coarse single strand of black hair protruding from my neck, about an inch long. I jumped up out of bed to get the tweezers to yank the sucker out, pulling it so hard that I hopefully got the root so that it will never grow out of that region again. As I began inspecting my neck further for crazy hairs I found another one a little further down but not as long. I don't think I have ever been so grossed out, I about cried, I had to immediately call Wendy to help restrain my tears! I have two questions "Is Dan the only one who saw that thing" and "What is there purpose" I have heard others speak of those sick crazy hairs but I had convinced myself it would never be me..... YUCK! My young days are over.......

I on the other hand am not as lucky as robyn...mine always grow back, same place even. But think of it more as you are maturing.
I got my first gray a few weeks ago. Not as disturbing as growing a neck beard, but still difficult emotionally.
Oooh gross! I have never experienced a neck hair or even a gray hair. I do have, however, one manly back hair.
I've had the course gray hair in my head. I've had black hairs in worse places that I won't mention here but I blame those on pregnancy hormones.
All I know is if 21 is old, I'm ancient!
