Dan got Saturday off! YAYAYA! So we took off to Manhattan beach with Paul and Courtney! It was a beautiful, fun day!! The boys enjoyed some NAR NAR waves with the surf boards, while the girls laid on the beach soaking up the sun, and getting grossed out by women who were too large for their swimsuits or were revealing too much, yup we saw a lot of butt cheeks! The water was freezing, but Dan convinced me it would get better if i just went all the way in! Having faith in my husband I got all wet, too realize that instead of my legs just being numb my whole body was now numb! But I have to say no beach trip is a real beach trip with out getting in the water at least once and getting wiped out by at least one wave! I'll be honest there is no feeling in the world like getting tumbled by a wave. Your face smashing against the gravely bottom, while sand begins to enter any and every hole and crevice and, then when you finally find which way is up and gain gripping with your feet you stand up humiliated realizing that your swim suit is all mangled(a little bum crack showing here, with a little more cleavage showing there) and your hair all tangled, and then you usually get pumbled by at least one more wave! Nothing like the ocean!
P.S. I FORGOT MY CAMERA! I need to get better at caring that thing around! Sorry bloggers' for slacking!I'll make it up to you!

Manhattan Beach is right next to Hermosa Beach (where I was all last summer) i love both of those beaches..soo nice! kristi-you remember walking from manhattan all the way down to hermosa and looking at those little puppies on the way?? Well have all go together when I get there to catch some rays! Seeee ya sooon!!
I've definitely felt the humiliation of finally catching a breath of air only to realize that your suit is in places it's not supposed to be wedging sand into cracks it's not supposed to be. I'm with you! But also not a complete trip to the beach if you don't get pummeled by at least one wave.
I don't mind the lack of photos -- I've seen enough of your bum crack in our childhood years.
