I did it!

So after months of putting all my energy into being anti-blog here I am! My reasons behind not wanting to do a blog were that I don't have any cute babies to blog about, my life is pretty monotonous, and I lack in the creativity department. Lacking the things that most bloggers blog about I decided to try and obtain some of those things so I could fit in with the rest of the blog world. First I tried talking Dan into trying to reproduce, cuz I figured then I would have a cute, hopefully, baby to blog about, but didn't seem real practical considering I lack the maternity coverage on my health plan and I have year and half left of school. So then I started trying to think of hobbies. I tried scrap booking at Wendy's baby shower but it took me two hours to do one page, so once again not so practical. I thought about trying to become really good at cooking or baking, lacked in that department too for the most part, except that I realized I can whip up a pretty amazing chocolate chip cookie! So after a couple of months searching out different things I could blog about I decided that I was going to buckle down and just blog about my life. I have decided to put my energy into making my life less monotonous and just enjoying the stage of life that I am at, embracing it if you will!

I'm ten days away from hitting my 10 month anniversary of being married. I was nervous about getting married young(20) but I knew I couldn't let this gem get away from me! So Wah-Lah we did it and its been the best decision I have ever made. Now at times it has been hard, expected! But nothing to hard to hold hands and push through. Most people that knew me during my dating years of high-school are shocked and amazed at the winner I pulled, even I was, and each day I become more and more amazed.

A little about me! My senior year of high-school I won Class Clown for senior superlatives and ever since then its given me confidence in the idea that I guess I am pretty funny! Dan says that, that is one of his favorite attributes about me! My humors a little bizarre and sometimes over the top, and usually I'm the one laughing the loudest at my jokes but I like it and I think its one of my favorite characteristics about myself. One bad quality that I have noticed since I have been married is that I'm pretty stubborn, and set in my own ways. Working on that! I had this teacher last semester tell me that the worst attribute that you could bring to the social work field is thinking that your right, because if your right then the other side of it is always wrong! Its a pretty simple idea! Some other things about me, I like a clean house, and I actually really enjoy cleaning! I guess I could post blogs about different cleaning supplies~ haha! Weird~ The first thing I do when I get home from wherever I have been is straighten things up, cuz then I'm able to fully relax. I also really enjoy people. My family tells me that I stare, but I like to tell myself its the talent of "people watching". One time while I was in Singapore with my sister Dana I was "people watching" so intently that I walked straight into a pole! I like to travel, and learn other cultures. I like to be outside and feel the serenity that nature brings. I love laying out in the sun, which I'm trying to cut back on cuz we have quite the background of skin cancer in our family. I love families, and I love spending time with family! I like teenagers, which has been my profession for the past year and three months. I like how dramatic they are! I enjoy life and though I get anxious about what the future has to bring I enjoy the mystery of not knowing!

P.S. A week from today Dan and I will be in Chino Hills California for the summer!
