I would consider this morning of mine very productive, started off with a jog(the speed of most peoples walks) which of course was instigated by Dan(thanks husband for the motivation), came home put Hudson down in the other room with some toys and turned on Mickey Mouse Club House in-case he got bored of the toys(whenever I leave him in the family room by himself I feel like I have to put on a cartoon to give him some company... odd I know) and then I headed in the kitchen to make breakfast for Dan and I, something gourmet like scrambled eggs. Dan left for work and I headed up stairs to give Hudson a bath. This is when the drama started. I'm walking into my bedroom with Hudson on my hip and bam knocked his head right into the door. What a stupid Mom. Feeling horrible I grab his binky and blankie and hold him and apologize repeatedly with tears in my eyes till he stops crying. I then proceed to giving him a bath and see that a knot has formed on the side of his head... this makes me feel even more sick(I call Dan, My Mom, and Wendy, to help console me and talk me through it). It's now 10:00am and its time for his nap. I lay him down swaddle him (don't worry only one arm swaddled) and give him his binky and walk out. A few minutes later he begins to cry... so I go in to give him his binky and find him still swaddled but on his stomach. (he's been rolling for about 2 months but I guess he's now figured out how to roll swaddled). I turned him back over and re-did the one arm swaddle. The scenario repeats itself, but this time I decide to go in and un-swaddle him to see if he can manage going to sleep without it. Once again the crying begins so I go back in this time with a genius Mom idea! How about I swaddle him NO ARMS.... So I get back out the swaddle blanket and just swaddle his lower half, meanwhile as my light bulb is turned on bright and shinny in my head, he looks at me like Mom you really have no idea what your doing, do you. Well 3 minutes of crying (it felt like 15 minutes as I sat there watching the clock) I peep in to find him fast asleep on his side. THAT'S WHAT WE CALL A MOM SUCCESS, just rolling with the punches!!

So there you have it, the Momma Drama of this morning! Please don't judge me for anything above, Hudson's expression was spot on, I really have no idea what I am doing, but I can tell you I'm trying my best.KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-66182277936738981192011-07-30T08:58:00.000-07:002011-07-30T10:11:49.378-07:00Every 6 Months<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-PZSwlI7ieYQnEF2Y5N0IPtWlZnDtQKemJNyXh2l79E3aqlJVSiFA2W6f6rBa-aDppeiVibkIgM18jZDl3-opj_J6m91vrXAeOfSQ5jJ52xk_DGQC_46sQZ0ZgEDiQW8TWZknJShbf7oZ/s320/photo%25286%2529.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635194212996281410" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 237px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8cqTttYyhJoAB1xpGFrbNF-7hIuItDRMD2MRIi4E9Glmls7x1eg6yC19Yq9q19N8yRLTbn5jr5_IV2PK5vX3AVGmtevIr9u3pYBl3Fe5U8IOxvSijGDrUoqKG4l7iwGchwC4pBORLvf7c/s320/photo%25288%2529.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635194144295940370" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 212px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmggd4KJNPKfkb6EDw3V6OxrNXPAjGoR2pO2SuhEXq4kADhVuDbda7cDnGHJPHE40XqhwI_5aWylO0ZC-GylY3cF424P5ce4HV7DsHhkdl7_djYbkcAgSj_fzw_Go-W5UXdqfHGqHrXraq/s320/photo%25287%2529.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635194037725850802" />

I often ask myself why I still have this thing. I may have over used it the first 2 years and now find myself blogged out. But alas here I am again with our 6 month check in. I would have made an update sooner but it wasn't till about 3 months ago that I learned how to put Hudson down.

Hudson Daniel Fey made it safe and sound into the world almost 6 months ago. He came a few days early but nice and easy. I was surprised to be laying in bed on February 15 and feel my water break and then go into labor. Never expected it to happen the movie way. However, easy, is a relative term, I still gave birth and to this day feel the effects of delivering a child. It's clear that somethings will never be the same! That's a topic I could write about for days, "All The Things Mom's Claim to Forget, or Intentionally Never Mention About Becoming A Mom!" But that sweet little boy brought this deep deep feeling into my life that I had never felt before. There's definitely a need for that feeling, the wee hours of the morning frantically call upon that deep feeling to help in balancing out the other emotions (exhaustion, frustration, helplessness you name it....).

From day 1 the word I use to describe Hudson is sweet. Dan would ask me, what do you mean by sweet, and I would answer I don't know he's just sweet. It's the first word that pops into my mind when I see my mini Dan.

Well I think it's official, I'm a Mom! My perfume consists of a hint of baby vomit mixed with a little acidic poop. My work-outs involve carrying and feeding Hudson. My wardrobe is anything comfortable! My sleep pattern resembles that of a new born, with whopping 3 hour stretches! 90% of my thoughts each day are about Hudson, 50% of that being about how to get him to sleep better! I spend most of my day talking or singing to Hudson every little thing that we are doing. And the poor kid doesn't even realize that every time he smiles at me when I am jabbering to him, it just encourages me to keep going. And my I-phone is proof of just how truly obsessed with him I am, is 10 pictures a day of you laying on your back to excessive. I'll apologize now for all the pictures I have of you alone, I haven't quite firgured out the right positioning to capture your mom in the picture with you!

I am slowly trying to balance back out my life, my poor Husband, whom I have to say from an UNBIASED opinion is one of the best Dad's around! 2 months ago I started to learn how to cook again, I forgot how to while I was pregnant and wasn't able to learn again till after the first couple months of Hudson's life. OOPS! It didn't help that Dan is a fabulous cook so I actually preferred him cooking! Despite all of the things that I go through on a daily basis that confirm I am Hudson's mother I still find myself wondering when his parents are going to come get him, I can't believe he's mine!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-4315789782102757002011-01-02T21:00:00.001-08:002011-01-02T21:55:44.310-08:00Oh the Places You'll Go!I'm sure some of you have lost sleep wondering where we have been for the past year, but wonder no longer were back to sum up 2010! And as the old saying goes "A picture is worth a thousand words". So to spare you a thousand words I'll let you in on quit the complex idea!

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjX1-ggXuWEkjqsILsT51moGRVqzxG2CGqMgTNVYWmoxvPZcCdTXMQo4pOoEJyKeWOdM65wJueinn09jzPgDgBTRhyxFBGymlLy7ViCF8hyyr-gWoBOlq1iz2liVRhW_1XDeVhNMAVVRhwS/s320/IMG_4086.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5557822400287178354" />

"We are" or should I say "I am" having, a little boy in the middle of February! I still haven't figured out the appropriate way to say that, because all though it takes two tango the rest, I have come to find out, is a solo dance something like the macarena until he makes his debut! I would hate to give credit where credit isn't due!

And as far as the overall year of 2010, it was good. Filled with a few more changes and adjustments than I usually like to face in one year. I remember at the beginning of 2010 talking to Dan about a few of the things that would lead to some changes and preparing myself mentally for the idea of change. But then I found myself in deja vu on new years eve as I thought about the even bigger life changes of 2011. I'm not real good at change. Every year I have to spend some time prepping myself for possible changes in the upcoming year. Self talk if you will. Needless to say during the 2010 mental prep the idea of adjusting to a little boy hadn't yet settled in my mind, I guess that is the point of the 9 month gestational period. The mental prep of past years doesn't quit compare to the amount of mental prep I am going to have to squeeze in this year. I felt so prepared to be a mom up until the day I realized I was expecting, which came about two months after actually finding out I was pregnant. I find myself most days walking in a daze, similar to how I felt right before I got married. I think both of these dazed phases have served the same purpose in my life, it keeps me a little out of it so I don't have to try and fully comprehend what's about to happen. But needless to say were excited for this little guy! He can take as much time as he needs to come out though, his soon to be parents still need some prep time!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com11tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-14898792564714785412010-01-11T09:53:00.000-08:002010-01-11T16:14:05.121-08:00A Year to Remember...2009Well, another year has come and gone! Where does the time go? 2009 was a good year for the Feys. We had some great opportunities come our way and we had several new additions to the family. I’m just going to hit a couple of the highlights this year. If you feel that we left something off, don’t worry we had fun, it was a highlight, but it just didn’t make the list.

Jan – Road trip to the Bay Area. Unfortunately somewhere between Provo and San Francisco we lost Ashton and KC Grewal. Life just hasn’t been the same without them
Feb – Long weekend trip to Seattle with our friends the Grewals (do you see a pattern).
April & May – Welcome the new addition Leah into the family. Another LONG road trip to Virginia to embark on a summer full of questions? We weren’t exactly sure what would happen when my internship fell through last minute, but we packed up our belongings and made the trip. It was great! I got a ton of great experience, Kristi loved her jobs and really felt a connection with the Larsen children. We got spoiled rotten by Kristi’s parents (thanks a ton) and we got to spend a bunch of time with family we don’t see to often.
June – I celebrated my 25th birthday. We went to a wonderful beach house in North Carolina with the whole Carver Clan. It was my first time and we absolutely loved it! Thank Mom and Dad. I got a new internship and it was a great blessing.
Aug – We added another niece and nephew to the family, Luke at the begining of the month and Sasha at the end. We finished up our time in Virginia and after some tearful goodbyes and 3 ½ months of fun we started out again for Utah. We did have some pit stops on the way. We dropped down to Georgia and visited my brother Matt and his wife Amy. We had a great time with them and loved downtown Savannah. They almost sold us on it. We then continued West and stopped in Colorado just in time to see my best friend Eric Bell marry Madison Mills. A beautiful wedding!
Sept – School started up again and we both regretted going back. I was in my last semester (only 2 classes) at BYU and Kristi was down to 2 semesters at UVU.
Oct – Another nephew to the family, Zachary. We celebrated Kristi’s 23rd Birthday. I got a job with Intermountain Healthcare doing sports performance (a dream come true, feels good to work again).
Nov – Thanksgiving with the Jeppson extended family and a yearly tradition we hope of having Val come out and spend some time with us in Provo.
Dec – I graduated finally! Christmas in Puyallup, nothing like it and a little Carver time up in ogden.

We had a great year and look forward to what the future holds for us. We hope that we can see you soon. We love being with family and friends and hope it is sooner rather than later!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-73340836336622138652009-10-28T20:48:00.000-07:002009-10-28T21:29:00.049-07:00In the life of 23 year old Kristina Fey!<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXzQLfdgVEmppp1B6r6qxigCI1p-EYpOic6kGKBESnwMuivnBe4pyhq1nhpkTQcFDIKjdpIhkSqhAmk0B71-1__2ACpRihyphenhypheneZy267PpvilkcA8E9EhkFQC3LGY9MZWCXXcl6-dKf9HfY7P/s320/IMG_3912.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5397874140109272418" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-XJoHIXq2QU_N7zD1Amkvfv7ra4nGuLM3IkPFLJYi_Rvx3Y7MDmqFz3BkmDQl5m7g0cmSbb6nMEA6PbwQ8xBNRGxsdhbRoKo2MO8QtWTjJgiKVuRdikXJxSH-oAvgwoLx9TfKdA14Ghd-/s320/IMG_3913.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5397874131498966898" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOKd4kh4xZ7XxJm-gLlRBmh1hYdiK-ACE-Oh0LQOKve-zSMEjiKyOb1J2h0D8jGxfN50_oNdDwqY1GeG2vH9U_I5DYWAZeTQagqHemQtCy-NijCTssIb57_SZNlTn9wMWsAqhYRkRHa1-f/s320/IMG_3909.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5397874110276730850" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3SkfIDiH1iFWsD7NgViDuE7ZurzPIf6lLI0z420VG2OBrQWbqp0ZzJ5dn5AV77Qr3DZFavlxxCpS63DxCf9jMDRGFwN7QldVGCh-SqGfrfAP498lJ3g9VWqyghF5iYeeBeEkhtbeJ1UPU/s320/IMG_3911.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5397874129239135602" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7OcH0nFkU-Tq_Et3KBgxBBL3yQ7uJHnt0jqCRkuLYWUyG5bJN55gcuBwPcv8KWBBiATGNx87m7m_704yghBZPRmTvUsRXpRRxsqyVKAYh9ofmnYtQA_NJ9SkX_qmlQkhgpoEjcAV1pMT5/s320/IMG_3910.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5397874118189599714" />
Oh the joys of being a little bit older and wiser! Turning 23 has been a little tramatic for me. I don't know why, it's just a year older than 22 right, but it sure sounds a whole lot older, and its started to get me thinking. Do i really look like I am 23? When I look in the mirror I still see an 18 year-old with some "minor" body changes! I am really just hopeing as I get older I don't get more weird hairs in weird places, eeek! And since I am still in college I have found myself feeling like I need to justify being 23 and still working on a bachelors. It has taking me a little longer than usual to embrace this age, I am working on it! I do love birthdays, but as you get older you become a little bit more anxious about them! However, thanks to wonderful family and friends, 23 was brought in with a bang! Tiny zachary was born the day of my birth and the night before that blessed day I got to have a shared b-day celebration with little parker!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-63014687173032954752009-09-20T15:26:00.000-07:002009-10-16T20:23:23.256-07:00Being a little teeny weeny Ant!!<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 230px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjCXRDdgLsHS5MyekfJ0jrxA35uwF3TJWVlw3tVfRj29_YsgAk-msQirnl1kTDPOoFrJPof5pNwfNj4wjIMDb2GdVaQhfS3pHpvpq-cHEHe0dJM2x3_i_XdzEmUgXzPxsDthaWjv0rrPK2/s320/Lindaa1-R3-017-7.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5383743125256051378" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 230px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwQHbno09omITRjLP_rk4NRPJ8mKGDd7KkVC6ioWvYblnDOOW7xfpmBTppkpabSKC6jePS9-TJL0lnTfpzMN53pjWO4rQr6uzzun5e2fUkAQdYUDCCk5xyDBLY6KiHnuFlp4PtpLoFXysF/s320/Lindaa1-R3-007-2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5383739734119934306" />

Okay not an Ant really, but I just thought it would get you interested in this possibly boring but had to be done blog! Then you begin to feel a little guilty and you sit down to write and you have so much to say, but feel so overwhelmed that you scribble down a few sentences and promise to do better and then the same thing happens again. Now you know how I’m feeling. 3 months have come and gone since our last post. So much has happened and it seems crazy to try and write it all down in one post, but here I go!

Virginia was an absolute blast and a blessing. Thank you to all of you that made that happen. We had such a fun time with nieces and nephews brothers and sisters and most of all parents. I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into when we decided that we would be staying with Kristi’s parents for 3 ½ months. Well, what I got was spoiled, a ton of memories, all the Thai food I could eat, golf instructions, lots of laughs and the list goes on. We had such a good time don’t be surprised if we come out again. Maybe this time will be a little bit longer though.

After a few crazy happenings I was able to do the sports performance that I was hoping. I worked with Explosive Performance and had a great summer. I worked with tons of high school football players, some collegiate athletes and an array of kids ages 10-14 looking for that edge when they compete or a little more coordination in sports. It was all I could ask for. I also was able to do personal training at a great little studio called Fitness Together. Think about, Dan working out and surrounded by sports. Anyone who knows me can understand I loved my time there.

Kristi took to Mommy relief about as fast as the little babies took to her. She was constantly getting request to come to a home and work with children. She has a knack with children(thank you to the almost 18 nieces and nephews Carver and Fey). As popular and busy as she was she found more time for work. She began to nanny for the Larson family. No small task when considering they have five children 7 and under. She absolutely loved the 6 weeks or so that she was able to spend with them. She gained such a love for those children and they in return loved here. This was evident by the huge banner and going away party that was thrown for Kristi and the many tears shed by both sides.

We also had a sweet vacation in the Outer Banks in North Carolina. We lived it up in a wonderful beach house and rest and relaxed to our hearts content, just what we needed in the middle of summer. Just prior to this I turned 25, I can’t believe that! Right when we returned we celebrated 2 years of marriage, another crazy milestone I can’t believe, but feel so lucky to have hit. Thanks babe!

I don’t think we wanted to leave Virginia and I think Virginia didn’t want us to leave based on the amount of money that we had to put into our car days before we left, but we were able to leave and travel down to Georgia to visit my brother Matthew and sister in law Amy. We had a great time guys, thanks for making it so enjoyable! We saw countless wildlife (gators, dolphins, deer, raccoons, vultures) and ate the best peach crepes of our lives. Then we continued on from Georgia to Denver to attend one of my best friend’s weddings. Eric Bell got married and I was in the wedding party. We had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful temple sealing, ring ceremony and reception dinner. Thanks to you all!

Now were back in good old Provo after spending 3 days or so with the Pippins and seeing baby Luke. We’ve enjoyed our time here, but as they say all good things must come to an end. I have 2, yes count them 1-2 classes remaining in obtaining my bachelors and Kristi got some great news yesterday from her counselor that after her 16 credits this semester and 14 next semester she will be finishing up in April. We can’t wait to see after that where our next great adventure will take us. Sorry for the novel, but it is the only way it can do a little justice for the incredible summer we had. Thanks to everyone that made it so great especially Dean and Linda, you’re the best!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-69250075419792575242009-05-19T06:20:00.000-07:002009-05-19T06:37:10.231-07:00A Shot in the DarkWell, we really have flown by the seat of our pants these past few weeks. It brought us all the way to Virginia. What Kristi failed to mention is that we went out there with no real promising leads. The internship that I was supposed to have informed me the day before we were going to take off that they would be closing down there facility and that my services would not be needed. So needless to say what do you do in a time like that? You go out anyway, bum off your in-laws, spend time with nieces and nephews and look for jobs knowing that if you don't have any luck then you can turn around in the car and make the 30 hour drive back to greener pasteurs in Provo, UT.
A quick update though. We both felt really good about coming out here and knew at least we would save a little rent money (thank you Carvers), but were unsure of anything beyond that. Well, for the past week and a half I have been working as a personal trainer at a place called fitness together that offers small personal suits and that caters primarily to adults. It is located in Chantilly, which alloww me to run to work(only 2 miles...priceless!) It has been a good experience to date. Kristi had a job interview last week and upon completing the interview was offered a job right there on the spot. She will be doing Mommy Relief, assisting mothers in their homes you have recently given birth and are finding it difficult to adjust or simply need an extra pair of hands. She will be great at that, it's right up her alley. More great news, I was informed by Velocity sports yesterday that I was accepted to their internship program and will be starting the 26the of May. This is what I really wanted despite not being paid, it will give me a great opportunity to look into the sports performance field and see if it is really something I want to pursue.
All in all things are going great for us. We couldn't be happier and feel like we've been blessed a ton. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers. Kristi thanks for being patient and a thanks to all the family members that we've been able to see and spend time with. We've had a blast and look forward to another three months!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com14tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-71959591229920147832009-05-10T17:07:00.000-07:002009-05-10T17:59:04.017-07:00Fey's Motto of Summer 2009, "Fly by the seat of your pants"I have this man in my life that has taught me a whole lot about how to live life. As I dated this man I quickly concluded that we were two peas in a pod, we were the "exact" same. However... after marrying this man... and living life together... I quickly came to the opposite realization than I did when we were dating... We actually are very different and live life extremely differently. In our first year of being married it actually seemed as though we had more difference than similarities. Just to name a few personality traits that make us so different... Dan is laid back, easy going, mild manner, and very level headed, and Me, I'm pretty high maintenance, a huge worry wart, easily stressed, and emotional. Living life with Dan and watching him deal with things handed his way, I have begun to not only admire him, but envy how he lives life. At first it was slightly frustrating to me that after being handed the same trial he seemed so much more calm and collected, and always came out way on top! I soon realized this frustration was actually me just being a little jealous about him handling things so much better than me. His life seemed so much more enjoyable than mine.

So this past year, especially within the past few months, I have been attempting to live more like Dan! Trying not to map out the future so intensively and not worry so much about what tomorrow has to bring, instead, focusing on living in the here and now.

This more laid back, flying by the seat of our pants, attitude led us on a cross country road trip to Virginia to live with my generous parents! The idea had been floating in the air for a few months, but the decision wasn't 100% until the morning of the day we packed our bags and began our journey.

This new mindset has really led me to better enjoying every moment of every day... I'm not so focused on the future anymore... and what next month has to bring to the table. Life seems a whole lot more manageable! So thanks Husband for helping me put on a new set of lenses!

Now as far as the cross country road trip goes... I think every married couple should do it. It was a fun little relationship building, bonding experience! You find out just how entertaining each other are!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-37720024930127603022009-02-21T15:47:00.001-08:002009-02-21T15:47:24.825-08:00Sleepless in Seattle!

KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-23685969954260524462009-02-17T17:17:00.000-08:002009-02-17T17:36:46.794-08:00I know exactly what to do with my time!Oh how nice it is to be home alone for a couple of hours! It's not very often that both boys are gone at once, but thanks to the elder's quorum guys night out tradition, I get approximately 4 hours of ME time! The schedule will go as follows, make a PB & J for dinner, jump in a hot bubble bath, cook up some kettle corn to go along with my T.V. shows. Watch the T.V. shows with out comments from the peanut gallery, and then possibly hearing a scary noise, which will force me to end the night locked in my bedroom reading a heart jerking novel. That's precisely my kind of night, ex the last part it just always seems to happen that way. I am not use to this houses silly noises yet!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-11932804886278048082009-02-03T18:22:00.001-08:002009-02-03T18:29:36.898-08:00And just in case you were wondering...<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 210px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhT8pJC4s6OChL20xPw8Ohd0QTJ2PBwGHueD7OyWy4bncRqfKxMo-EE7XHRTtyZLT0AohXYoh0PyOPXyvJW0-ZjA5Hcnann45M8TzkyJJFjhO5Hs2iqDDZx9IParflkT_KDgQ0xJCObcFgL/s320/myBaby.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298762829205129122" />
I kept seeing this "baby making, with out making a baby" on peoples blogs, so I had to try it. School has seemed to take over my life, which my Dad would be thrilled to hear! My sixteen credits occupy most my time, and the rest is ran by my (embarrased to say) T.V. shows that I find myself living vicariously through! We did take a quick vacation about two weeks ago to San Fransico which was bitter sweet. Sweet in the sense it was 70 degrees there and it was a 24 hour party, bitter because we drove our best couple-friends out there to stay. So now we are pretty friendless=( KC and Ashton use to occupy about three nights of our week, and we could always count on them for a good date night. Now, Dan and I are left to go alone, sad I know, unless we can talk Dan's little brother into accompaning us!
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUdZBz7EN-tEN0f62w7MNNmN8ZSBBSET4R4K6gGR06nSUC3rOaLSY8dLumKs86fkkQVHIKy7Sfu4nL85FXYzTdCsKuY5QiTp4U6IyMhaqEekRaiH0MkzNQCb-Q-bdeLro_VBwIbL9dlofV/s320/IMG_3820.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298750227368394642" />
So lifes going, and I have realized I need to do better at enjoying and living in the moment, I have gotten really good about worrying about the future, especially since real life seems to be rapidly approaching Dan and I as we begin to think about life after school.KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-37045173278180636822009-01-01T21:37:00.001-08:002009-01-01T21:37:38.203-08:00Christmas festivities!

KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-58179513774362702662008-12-15T11:30:00.000-08:002008-12-15T11:42:30.720-08:00Time is Flying and so are weWell, from the previous post you can tell that Kristi has had 2 run ins with the provo police force since we've moved in a month and a half ago. One resulted in a ticket, the other a warning. Well, I could let her out do me, so this Friday I took it upon myself to speed excessively and get pulled over resulting in another speeding ticket for the two of us. Between our house(Joel, Kristi and I) we've been pulled over 4 times and recieved 2 tickets. In six weeks! What does that say about us? We've had a good month of December so far. We are in the home stretch for finals. I just took my fourth an hour ago and now only have three more. What a relief! We're stoked about the opportunity to go to Virginia and hope that you are ready for us(french toast every morning, carmel popcorn every night). TheInfamous Jazzy Jeppson Christmas Spectacular was quite a hit especially between the older cousins. It was there that I was first introduced to speedminton. It was love after teh first game. Google it if you are unsure of what it is, but be prepared to become addicted. We've also had a Christmas program at the Carvers(Nate and Krystene) and are making gingerbread houses with the Grewals tonight. Christmas is a great time of the year. We also attended our nieces gymnastic performance(Pease see themyersmix.blogspot.com to see us in action). It's a great time of the year. We are truly blessed to have a great supporting cast. We are blessed with great family and friends. We love you and appreciate your roles in our lives. If we don't see you, Merry Christmas and for those we will see soon, get ready!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-63637924824737599912008-12-07T21:20:00.001-08:002008-12-07T21:20:27.800-08:00They were out to get me!To start off the wonderful thanksgiving break from school, I got a speeding ticket! Now if this ticket came 6 years ago it wouldn't have been much of a shock it would have just blended in with the 3 accidents and 2 other tickets I recieved in my first two years of driving! I was on my way to rock climbing at the butt crack of dawn, just chatting away with mom along my usual route when all the sudden those red and blue lights came on. As I calmly pulled over I really wasn't that upset, matter of fact I felt like I was over due and deserving for a ticket, my record finally was just cleared last year, and I would hate to look like a perfect driver when I am in actuality probably one of the worst out there, and when i looked in my rear view mirror and saw the cop walking up he looked like a push over. So I was banking on just getting a warning, matter of fact I was like 95% sure it was just a warning! But he had a different agenda, and wrote me up. As i began to drive away thats when the guilt and remorse started coming up, it put me on the wrong foot for the rest of the day. I would have to say it is one of the worst feelings being pulled over, all the passer byers strain there necks to see the criminal, which is a little publicly humiliating, and it really makes you feel so horrible to have a cop car behind you with its lights on!
But if that run in with the cops wasn't enough, exactly a week later going down the same road, leaving the same rock climbing class, I get pulled over AGAIN. Once again not in a rush just going about my business, but this time i had failed to notice a stop sign! The cop was real sneaky, he was in this undercover navy blue, chevy~ When he came up to my window I began to uncontrollably ball, which wasn't staged but definently worked in my favor, or maybe it was the christmas music that i turned up a little when i saw the lights turn on to put the cop in the right mood. Anyways, luckily i got a warning! Needless to say I have chosen a new route to drive to and fro and refuse to drive down that road even if it knocks 5 minutes off my ETA!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-87638175429423845312008-12-03T08:47:00.001-08:002008-12-03T08:47:43.254-08:00Thanksgiving break...

KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-74438288626835942412008-12-02T21:26:00.000-08:002008-12-02T21:43:04.725-08:00Antivirus 2009So to those of you that have been checking our blog, desperately anticipating the next Fey post and questioning our loyalty to the blogosphere consider this. For the last 2 ½ weeks we have been battling the Antivirus 2009. Now this virus may not cause the casual blogger to tremble, but anybody that considers themselves a diehard would quiver with trepidation at the sound of this ferocious beast. This particular virus nestled into our computer stating that we had viruses and that they must be fixed immediately. Well, the lack of computer skills that we possess made this event even more stressful. Each time we logged on we were made aware that now even more viruses had emerged and our very lives were being threatened if we didn’t do anything. After a few days of this and multiple times of being logged off the computer against our own will I gave in. I went to the BYU bookstore and was set that I would buy a laptop. I was close, I had convinced myself. Lucky for me I have a wife with a more rational thought process then myself and when I texted, called, and then called again she basically shut me down. The Mac book would only be 1000 dollars with my discount I told her (I still think it’s a great idea and would appreciate any convincing coming this way). After pacing the bookstore floor about a hundred times I finally just approached the clerk and asked him about this virus. He explained in detail the problem, most of it going in one ear out the other with my head bobbing up and down in agreement with everything he said. Finally, I mustered the courage and when I got home I tried to cure us of this virus. Only this time I believe the virus got smarter beating me to my next step every time. Multiple websites that I called upon to use wouldn’t open and I began to get very frustrated. Eventually I found something on you tube, struggled to understand everything it would do to my computer, but trusting in the wise Indian man’s voice that assured me that it was nothing too serious. With a little faith, and luck I followed the steps and to my surprise it worked. The virus is gone, as well as some other programs, but the virus is gone. Hopefully we will be making many more posts in the future.KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-55378179675974438622008-11-14T14:17:00.000-08:002008-11-14T14:28:53.580-08:00"A historic landmark"Today at 10:45 we recieved the Internet! Now this may seem like a silly thing to many of you who have the internet at your finger tips,=p but for me, its been a "landmark in history"! We decided to hold off on the internet when we moved back from cali because of the unknown living situations! So we have survived with out internet for 4 MONTHS! Finally I can become a full-time blogosphere member again!I don't have to pretend like I am a BYU student anymore to use the computer while Dans in class to do school work, and most importantly I can catch up on some must see tv episodes that I missed at the begining of the season, I will no longer be an social outcast!!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-53679069910150558362008-11-10T08:18:00.000-08:002008-11-10T08:55:36.820-08:00Fey week!Dan's sister and brother inlaw came in town this week so we partied like rockstars, k not really, but we did have a good time! The pictures do a good job at summing up the weekend! The best part of this month besides the day of binging that comes at the end of the month that I have been looking forward to since last thanksgiving, is that it is full of visitors! We had Dan's Dad at the begining of the month for a weekend, then we had the sis, then next we have my Dad and then right after that we have Val for thanksgiving!!YAYA!

<img style="cursor:pointer; I think this week is going to be blog overload, then your cantines will be filled and I'll go back to blog drought.

It was an eventful weekend! We went up the canyon friday night for some bomfire smore roasting, with friends, and then saturday was packed full of outings. We went to the BYU football game in the morning, where we probably have a better view if we just stayed put at home, but its all about the atmosphere, right, so we insist on going to every home game!
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPSGTu4SDMyohkByfN_Gmn7Gz7WXGu3lEXJ0M8dYdBXP9InxUlAV9IR0h1vphM19Jvh3tOr6YsRV8Gf1B4pOcA3HKMRgbBAt-WPX4vCmhJiIdqVZHKzWi4hC4zTeyLx9QifqxKIEdZPrdP/s320/IMG_3626.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5261860558001923570" />
Saturday night I met up with the brothers and there families at a farm that was showing the charlie brown halloween movie on a big screen as well as a tractor ride around a "freshly planted orchard", in other words a dirt field! The kids thought it was pretty cool and that's all that really matters!

Mid-way through the evening the girls took off to witches night out! An anual affair that takes place at this strip of boutiques called Gardner Village! We kackled the night away for free coupons and saw some of the "scariest" witches~ None of us felt the urge to dress up, I take that back we did have witches hats, thanks to wendy! But we had some great laughs looking at everyone who had dressed up! I never knew withces costumes could be so revealing, Hokus Pokus never revealed that side to me, so we were quite astonished by the amount of leg, bum and chest we saw! Krystene was the only lucky one who came out winning a prize at the end! You have to stay till 10:30 to see if you won anything an out of 100's of women the probablitity is very slim, but you always have to stay just incase. Krys scored huge~ A new outfit!! We were out till about 11:30 and I'm pretty sure it was the latest any of us have been out in a while! <img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_9cUk0snKMyvvCRnQsLd4tNHaUlLys8SF3YcEIIZO4QxeIzJJ-R7t82T9kXRMbwveXPJWYhebXduzYB_jC0LU3affKR7ENQqFB6-DL54vPY2WBg2u2oMkBJ8JzwacrcOKJzfTPBEClAQT/s320/IMG_3641.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5261861595985443618" />

To give you a quick update on Dan and I not a whole lot is going on other than school, but we're moving into a town house Dan's dad bought this week, so were pretty excited about that, i'm more just anxious and a little stressed, but it will be a nice change to be living in something larger than 500 square feet! Except that we all know I am scared of my own shadow so I don't know how I will adapt to 2600 square feet, it won't be such an easy process anymore to check behind every cabinet, curtain, and corner when I am alone in the house!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-88939720223997831842008-10-24T09:03:00.000-07:002008-10-24T09:18:08.574-07:00Our struggling blog...Today I discovered that the computers at school have an insert for my memory card, YAY! So heres a quick photo update of what we have been up to! We have done a good deal of pumpkin carving with friends and family in which Dan and I had our weaknesses revealed to us in full force! We have alot great ideas we just have a hard time executing them! Its tough knowing which peices to poke out or leave in~ Which is the key to quality pumpkin carving! We did a full moon Gandola ride with KC and Ashton, which was just as romanitc as could be, and then last but not least we have been doing a lot of schooling mingled with intramural sports! those pictures will have to come later cuz I am running later for class!
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEge3HQ-AlEhSUeZjqxigRq2pFMr8EBHaDSiXFivjQ8p2Ta7RPjjwqwjS4yB1LeDsuwTOwhzjhs45qHj55AXOwafTPnzpIaJYbvbJUNVG-cY-Ky3AIz1zEd97jQChyphenhyphenH20TtSmnxBOE7kOwrv/s320/IMG_2528.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260754852101009298" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQMQpq_rwpQbvxRlk4SGxdR6xjrad76Esir5f5026LHzThusq42oFeIdXDBwbGYD08s4t9KdohCj5NoVst8Mzt_zZUZk_Z1gTMTTFU_VulrmVX-0c7X32VMBK72DJwA20AErJJtsxoRGP7/s320/IMG_2527.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260754842089800690" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeDjOWG23kXPUgy_7o8Lh9Ukh64Ria8raDldFrDwNxgo3yoFyVmfQTdcjQ_1Y-zR68ET-aa8_wz6XZHO9xURJy3kUodMfaGsoQFkuBpIkAZAszhyphenhyphen2DLste_lOdHF7zcu0OY5wqR68SVIs3/s320/IMG_2519.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260754835908223314" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNPbu_9giRqVa1sqfnUxz9P4uzDlIPlj5kXjCAThB_gb53-kzTH8up9q6dED0e-NoQFxcs18a-h-6oP7UJqMyCEJbnxcQYtKdZ_taGKOyGuNUYMLjd3s7utIYDMbE4DeTjXZvtwJGp4RIB/s320/IMG_2522.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260754823888324722" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJG6YrjOv-eSkp-8-TxP8_vSptqzlSlCJFZIBohhG4o3ldNE9kMvFHB4pqvkc2Aq9pjJLStmcnvKaBxlyQNl09W-AtiNz2nFZYG3IKRVmmVM1EhNE8DiGtsXrTyOv3sRTTxPlEG6rnQHND/s320/IMG_2516.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260754814533230306" />KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-60459821638569992662008-10-03T21:51:00.000-07:002008-10-03T22:10:57.796-07:00Here we go....Danny and I are up in Ogden for the weekend so that means PICTURE TIME. We have an eventful weekend ahead of us, my mom's in town so that means reality flies out the window!

The first picture I have been dieing to share is my first birthday present that i was given permission to open early! When Dan and I went camping I was admiring my niece and nephews footsie pajamas to my sis Mandy! Dan and his good ears over heard me admiring them and I guess it triggered a gift idea. As i was about to open the box that was fresh out of the mail he began to preface the gift and gifts to come. He said "since you are turning 22, I decided this birthday was going to be full of gifts that were pairs, and since 2+2=4, I figured you should get four gifts, are you sure you want to open your first gift early." I immediately responded of course! Who doesn't want an early b-day gift! This is what i found when i opened that box labeled "Jumpin Jammerz".....

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7GDODcWLGhrSWNOcRZjf1OMo9R7JVODQUCHsx5tflpDVSqabuz6D7ePcS8yEdqPYVROYDIFWYGcTj_BIE5MVa4P17Y54WJIrNJElmQLwM4UvweHVrmICX0ZnX7CIPIQa_HLGekAiKEvoN/s320/DSC_0096.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5253160609196242274" />
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZen8FBk81QXK9dpgo8NOOF8s_nlTXXjfs-0-nHo3f6d5sFOND2k8NUMdU00vdejWo6s56ykE4Blpo53xycHJI9O4tUmdX_V_nNokHbXTwQT-6-Oua6mC9g4D8g-9_jZ2iar7kHseVvM-R/s320/DSC_0100.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5253160610122916818" />

Your eyes aren't misleading you, those are fleece, camo pajamas! Only one problem they have no rubber grippings! Do they not realize that adults have the same chance of slipping and falling!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-11182677948448921392008-09-29T21:04:00.000-07:002008-09-29T21:15:26.261-07:00Finally!I have been craving roasting marshmellows ever since I left wendys three weeks ago! I dunno if theres anything more relaxing than slowly churning a marshmellow on stick over a blazing fire,(I don't believe in the roasting marshmellows over coal method), I like the bombfire roast! So after three weeks of whining I finally got my opportunity! We took off this weekend with Jeremy and Mandy, our outdoorsy experts! Dan and I aren't much of the alone camping type, we really love the adventure but I just can't promise we would make it through a night on our own. Maple canyon is one of the prettiest canyons utah has to offer. Friday afternoon we took off, with just a morning to plan the adventure. With such last minute plans everything far exceeded my expectations and dreams!! The weather was perfect, food was deluctible and the company out did themselves!

P.S. Readers hold on tight I promise I will try a little harder to feature some pictures soon!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5392419247996826160.post-24887297135365622812008-09-19T08:35:00.000-07:002008-09-19T10:39:06.580-07:00Hmm what to blog about...Still internetless at the apartment so these blogs will continue to be pretty boring. I'll try to spice things up in the writing! It seems that Dan and I are either busy at school or busy on the intramural fields! Dan is determined to win one of those t-shirts so he has taken up two sports this semester, softball and football, along with his 17 credits! I thought his dream of the t-shirt was shattered after his first football game when he came out mid half due to a tweaked hamstring. But he proves healed after his softball game last night when he was all over the outfield. He was nominated MVP after last nights game do to the amount of grass stains he acquired on his white shorts while diving for balls! I think Dan's Dad helped to put an extra hop in Dan's step because I have never seen him perform at the level he did! So theres a quick update so that I don't keep having flashbacks of my horrible day every time i check out the feyway,oh and here's a quick story that I just heard this morning that had me giggling to myself all through class.
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1I0Lyra8z4UufNvRqpVNyDqCwAkc2AVTAQjhWWZABrvn2ZUiOzF7ke_iFqHLxVZhzwuma2WI6_lEnV0WDgo6uAGAIeuC4Vr70_zjbavAQp3udE6yfiSlH9A-lKQ0BiEfbHF4ysJLtk0o0/s320/bird.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247786848509368002" />
Many of you know that we referr to my dad as the bird man! He has this "talent" of bird whispering, matter of fact it seems that every creature on earth is naturally drawn to him but he has a special knack with birds. Whenever us kids wanna know where dad is as it we inevitably can peer out the window and catch him out side either stocking up the bird feeders, searching through trees for the newest bird nest, or testing the temperature of his heated bird bath, with a string of grandchildren following behind! He has the most fascinating bird stories, but this one by far tops them off. Forgive me cause I didn't hear this story straight from the source so it could be butchered, but it's to great not to be shared. From what I hear Dad was asleep the other night and awakened by a noise. He opens his eyes to see a wild bird perched on his knee. So Dad, who hates being awakened, goes down stairs grabs a net and pushes the bird into the closet to catch him. Sure enough he caught that thing in the net, from what I hear he was a little nervous he hurt it but I have seen my dad maneuver wild birds before and those delicate hands I know couldn't of fazed that bird! I thought that kind of stuff only happened to Snow White or possibly Cinderella, but boy was I wrong. I love you Dad your the best!KMF & DSFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13422646466348710812noreply@blogger.com4
